Advice from one of the yahoo group that I’m in, take note.

This is to inform you that Japan will be having trading holidays from May 3 to May 5. Please avoid trading any USD/JPY and any other Yen Crossed Pairs, such as EUR/JPY and GBP/JPY during this period.

The rates remained unchanged as forecasted, bringing the Royal down about 60 pips from the annoucement.

AUD still remain fundamentally strong despite no changes to the Interest Rate as we can see a strong upward rebound on the next 8 hours.

Just bagged a little pips here as I haven’t move the SL in time before the rebound :P

I wouldn’t say its totally the index that pushed the cable out of its resistance, but definitely it’s playing a part on it. The ISM index was lower than forecasted.

Mar US ISM Release

Pound breaking out on resistance after release of news.

Entry at 1.9739, was letting it ride till it stopped out at 1.9779, a good 40 pips.

The numbers released were better than expected on AUD retail sales. Normally I wouldn’t be looking at other pairs apart from cable, but it looks good; and the reaction to it was not really that fast.

+15 pips on this one, stopped out on my SL.

AUD seems to be fundamentally strong.
