A conversation on IBFX forum on the closing for holiday that’s worth mentioning what happens when you have open positions when the charts are not updated,

Client Services 20: When trading resumes, it will resume at whatever the current market price is at the time
you: isn;t that “unfair” to those who hit TP on 4th July , and them arket moved against on 5th ?
Client Services 20: I apologize. That is just how it works when the trading is closed. It works basically the same way the trades work when the trading closes for the weekends…
And never open positions in IBFX when the market opens in sunday/monday: sooooo higher spreads!! Of course the same where there are important news.
Nobody told me that 4th July was a bank holliday in my country ??? Damned, I worked yesterday. What is doing Bush, he forgot to warn my boss, my colleagues, my government, the whole Europe, the rest fo the world too???
Yes, IBFX closed from 15:00 GMT until 01:00 GMT due to bank holidays.
Gray: so, is it a lie from IBFX about bank holidays or perhaps it was only in some states?

I wasn’t on holliday yesterday, I wanted to trade. I doubt IBF will close the 21st July, it will be a bank holliday in my country.
IMO an international Forex broker shouldn’t close on bank hollidays, a minimum servie should be offer to international customers, especially that the markets weren’t closed.
